In short: is the ZeroRank AI lifetime deal worth it?
ZeroRank AI is an AI brand visibility tracker sold as a lifetime deal on AppSumo from $69, against a Starter plan the founder prices at $76 a month, so it pays for itself in about a month. Tier 1 tracks unlimited prompts but analyses only 180 AI answers a month, against 4,500 on Starter. Tiers 1 and 2 include no article generation and no content optimisations. The company was founded in July 2025.
Is it worth it at $69?
Read off the plans, the founder's own posting history and the terms the sale site states
Yes for tracking, with one number to check first. The licence clears in about a month against the founder's own Starter plan. What it gets you is a fraction of that Starter plan rather than the plan itself, and the fraction is smaller than the price gap suggests it would be.
Three tools listed here measure how AI assistants describe a brand, and most buyers need one. Nuwtonic Lifetime Deal bundles the same job with Search Console auditing and rank tracking, which suits someone who wants one workspace rather than the deepest answer tracking. CitedSpy Lifetime Deal is narrower and sold on Earlybird, where the refund window is shorter than the 60 days here.
What follows is a read of the sale page, the licence terms, the founder's answers on the listing and the published rating record, checked on 14 September 2026. Nobody here ran the software.
- Pays for itself in under a month against the founder's own plan
- Unlimited prompts is not the limit that matters. Tier 1 analyses 180 AI answers a month against 4,500 on the $76 Starter plan it gets you, a fraction of that plan at the same feature level.
- Tiers 1 and 2 include zero article generations and zero content optimisations. Both start at Tier 3, so the cheapest tier only tracks.
- Seven features were still listed as coming when this was checked, including Workflows, the mobile app and SOC 2 compliance. The company was founded in July 2025.
Who can buy it
The deal terms restrict this round to new ZeroRank AI accounts with no previous trial or paid plan. No choice of tier works around it, so check it before anything else here.
What you actually get
Every tier tracks unlimited prompts and includes unlimited seats. That reads well and it is not the constraint.
The constraint is answer credits. Tier 1 analyses 180 AI answers a month. The $76 Starter plan the licence gets you analyses 4,500. Same feature level, one twenty-fifth of the volume, and the credits are what the platform spends going out to the models and reading what they said about you.
So the sizing question is how many prompt-and-model combinations you actually need watched. Tracking 15 prompts across four assistants once a week is roughly 240 answers a month, which Tier 1 does not cover. Tracking 10 prompts across three assistants weekly is about 120, which it does. Work that out before buying rather than in week three.
The second number to check is that Tiers 1 and 2 include zero article generations and zero content optimisations. Both start at Tier 3. The cheapest tier measures and recommends; it does not write.
Prompt Research carries a caveat from the founder rather than from us. Asked in August 2026 why the monthly research runs are so low relative to the workspace counts on higher tiers, the founder said the feature is still in beta and that the underlying data carries real licensing costs. Tier 1 gets 5 runs a month, which is a feature to treat as a preview rather than a reason to buy.

Which tier to buy
Buy Tier 1 if you want to answer "are we being cited by AI assistants" for one or two brands, you can live inside 180 analysed answers a month, and you do not need the tool to write anything.
Go to Tier 3 or above if you need article generation or content optimisations at all, because no amount of stacking adds them to the lower tiers, or if your prompt-and-model matrix runs past a couple of hundred answers a month.
ZeroRank is the one of the three AI visibility tools here that is clearly built for reporting to other people. Unlimited seats on every tier and exports that agencies in the review sample describe using on client work point the same way, and an agency tracking several brands is the case where the higher tiers earn their price.
Walk if you wanted a traditional SEO suite. The founder has already told you it is not one, and Screpy Lifetime Deal is what this site lists for auditing and rank tracking instead.
How fast it pays for itself
- $69once, here
- $76every month, from the founder
- 0.9 monthsto break even
Over three years the subscription costs $2,736 against $69 once here.
Every figure here assumes the founder keeps the price and the product alive for as long as the comparison runs.

Getting a refund and claiming the licence are separate deadlines. Full AppSumo terms.
| The plan it gets you | Starter (Tiers 1-3), Pro (Tiers 4-6) |
|---|---|
| Claim the licence within | 60 days of buying |
| Moving down a tier | Allowed for 60 days, upgrades any time the deal is live |
| Who can buy | New ZeroRank AI accounts only, with no previous trial or paid plan |
| If the plan is renamed | The licence moves to the new plan name with the updates that come with it |
| Future AI models | May be charged at a discount or need an add-on, so today’s model coverage is not guaranteed |
Terms can change while a sale is running. The AppSumo deal terms are the version that binds.
Asked in August 2026 whether ZeroRank handles full content operations, site audits, topical gap analysis, internal linking and cannibalisation detection, the founder answered plainly that it covers a good part of it but is an answer engine platform rather than a traditional SEO content suite.
That answer is worth more than the feature list above it. A vendor who names the boundary of their own product on a sale page is telling you what the licence will still be doing in two years, and it is not going to become an SEO suite because you needed one.
"Lifetime" means the life of the product, not yours — here is what to check before you buy.
What buyers reported
AppSumo shows 4.8 from 61 reviews. That is their number, not ours.
ZeroRank AI averages 4.87 across 61 ratings: 57 at five stars, 2 at four, 1 at three, none at two and 1 at one.
As a record that is close to unanimous, and it is also very new. The company states a founding date of July 2025, and four of the five reviews AppSumo surfaced in September 2026 were posted on a single day. A rating record built inside a launch window describes first impressions, and first impressions are the easiest thing for any tool in this category to get right: the first report is always interesting.
The one four star review in that sample is the most useful of them, describing a strong foundation with areas still to improve, which matches the seven features the listing still marked as coming when this was checked, among them Workflows, a mobile app and SOC 2 compliance. Buy what is shipping. If the roadmap is the reason for the purchase, the refund window is the thing to test it against.

Who it suits, and who it doesn't
Both halves worked out from the limits and terms above, not from who the founder says it is for
Worth buying if you are
- Agencies tracking a handful of client brands across AI engines rather than one
- Consultants who need white-label AI visibility reports without a monthly bill
Not worth buying for
- Anyone who needs article generation or content optimisations, neither of which is included on Tiers 1 or 2
- Work that depends on volume, because Tier 1 analyses 180 AI answers a month against 4,500 on the plan it gets you
- Buyers who need every listed feature to exist today, given seven were still marked as coming when this was checked

Common questions about the ZeroRank AI deal
What does an answer credit actually buy?
One analysed AI answer. A tracked prompt is run against an engine and a credit is spent analysing the result, so the monthly pool sets how many prompt and engine combinations can realistically be watched.
Is $76 a month the real monthly price?
Yes. The vendor pricing page shows $76 a month for Starter with $89 struck through beside it, and a separate yearly toggle advertised at 15 percent less. The $76 figure is the current monthly rate.
Which tiers include article generation?
Tier 3 and above. Tiers 1 and 2 include zero article generations and zero content optimisations, and stacking codes does not add them, so the cheapest tiers measure and recommend without writing.
How many AI answers does the cheapest tier analyse?
180 a month at Tier 1, against 4,500 on the Starter plan the licence gets you. Tier 2 analyses 540, Tier 3 analyses 1,800 and Tier 4 analyses 3,600.
Are future AI models covered by the licence?
Not necessarily. The deal terms state that access to future AI models may be charged at a discounted rate or require an add-on, so the models tracked today are not a promise about next year.
