In short: is the Screpy lifetime deal worth it?
Screpy is a site auditing, rank tracking and uptime monitoring tool sold as a lifetime deal on AppSumo from $59, against a Pro plan the founder prices at $19 a month, so it pays for itself in about three months. The three tiers buy 5, 10 or 15 projects and change nothing else: every other limit is identical across them. Pro excludes keyword research and backlink data, so every tier on this deal excludes them too.
Is it worth it at $59?
Read off the plans, the founder's own posting history and the terms the sale site states
For anyone watching five to fifteen sites who does not already pay for auditing, yes, and the payback is short. The harder question is what the v6 rebuild changed, because a run of one star reviews from July and August 2026 argues the tool that gets sold here is not the one some buyers bought in 2022.
The rebuild improved the product for people using it on their own sites and narrowed it for people using it on sites they do not control. Which of those you are decides this purchase more than the price does.
What follows is a read of the sale page, the licence terms, the founder's answers on the listing and the published rating record, checked on 11 September 2026. Nobody here ran the software.
- The listing states it is managed by the partner who built the product and that AppSumo has not vetted it, so the We Got Your Back guarantee does not apply. The 60 day refund window still does.
- Tiers buy projects and nothing else. Crawl pages, tracked keywords, Core Web Vitals URLs, seats and article generation are identical on all three plans.
- The lifetime tiers get you the Pro plan, the founder's smallest. Keyword research, organic keywords and pages, competitor ads, backlinks and the map tracker are excluded from Pro and therefore from every tier here.
What you actually get
This is the simplest tier ladder of any deal on the site, and it is worth saying plainly because most are not. The three plans buy 5, 10 and 15 projects. Every other number is identical across all three: 5,000 crawled pages per project, 100 daily tracked keywords per project, 25 Core Web Vitals URLs, one AI article per project per day, 100 white-label PDF reports and 5 team members.
So the sizing question is not which features you need. It is how many sites need watching, and whether that number is closer to 5 or to 15. Buying up a tier for a feature is not a mistake available here.
Asked in September 2026 whether the 100 white-label reports were an account total or per project, the founder answered that it is a monthly limit per project, resetting at the start of each month, with a fresh allowance for every new project. On the largest tier that reads as 1,500 reports a month rather than 100.
What the licence does not include matters as much. It gets you Pro, the founder's smallest paid plan: keyword research, organic keyword and page data, competitor ads, backlinks and the map tracker sit above it and are not included at any tier on this deal. A buyer raised exactly this on the listing in September 2026, asking why the exclusions were not listed alongside the inclusions since they are only discovered after purchase. The founder agreed it was fair feedback and said the listing format offered no place to put it.
One more limit is worth having before you buy rather than after. Asked how deep the rank tracker reports, the founder answered in September 2026 that it reports positions within the top 10 Google results only. For tracking a page that already ranks, that is fine. For watching something climb from position 40, it returns nothing until it arrives.

Which tier to buy
Buy it if you look after between five and fifteen sites you control, want technical auditing, top ten rank tracking, Core Web Vitals and uptime in one place, and have Search Console access to connect.
Do not buy it for keyword research or backlinks, which Pro excludes. Do not buy it to audit sites you have no admin access to, which is the specific thing the v6 reviews say got harder.
For the research half, WriterZen Lifetime Deal handles keyword work and clustering on a one-off licence, and Nuwtonic Lifetime Deal covers auditing alongside AI answer visibility if the question is how models describe you rather than how Google ranks you.
How fast it pays for itself
- $59once, here
- $19every month, from the founder
- 3.1 monthsto break even
Over three years the subscription costs $684 against $59 once here.
Every figure here assumes the founder keeps the price and the product alive for as long as the comparison runs.
Deadlines and licence

Getting a refund and claiming the licence are separate deadlines. Full AppSumo terms.

Terms can change while a sale is running. The AppSumo deal terms are the version that binds.
The listing states that the deal is managed by the partner who built the product and that AppSumo has not vetted it, so the We Got Your Back guarantee does not apply. The 60 day refund window is unaffected and still runs. What changes is what happens after day 61: a dispute sits with the vendor in Ankara rather than with the platform. Against a licence meant to last, that is worth knowing.
Codes stack to three, which is how the ladder is actually built, and the redemption deadline is 60 days, the same number as the refund window and a different clock.
"Lifetime" means the life of the product, not yours — here is what to check before you buy.
What buyers reported
AppSumo shows 4.61 from 910 reviews. That is their number, not ours.
Screpy averages 4.61 across 910 ratings. The distribution is 769 at five stars, 51 at four, 26 at three, 8 at two and 56 at one, so 64 buyers sit at two stars or below.
That shape is unusual and worth reading carefully: there are seven times as many one star ratings as two star ones. A rating pattern that skips the middle is not a product people find mediocre. It is one that works for most buyers and has specifically failed a minority.
The five reviews AppSumo surfaced under a "Newest" sort in September 2026 show what the low end is about, and it is not audit quality. Two reviews from late July 2026 describe the v6 release reducing the rank tracker keyword allowance and requiring Cloudflare or Google property access for tools that previously ran on any URL, which changes the product from something you point at a competitor to something you run on sites you control. A separate review from August 2026 reports a 2022 lifetime account returning "No user on Screpy account" after the platform rebuild.
The founder replied to all three on the record, within days, and stated that no lifetime plan had been deactivated. A four star review from the same window takes the opposite view of the same release, describing four years of quiet uptime monitoring and a rebuild that gave the account a reason to be revisited.

Who it suits, and who it doesn't
Both halves worked out from the limits and terms above, not from who the founder says it is for
Worth buying if you are
- Freelancers and small agencies auditing five to fifteen client sites
- Site owners who want auditing, rank tracking and uptime in one dashboard
Not worth buying for
- Anyone who needs keyword research, organic keyword data or backlink data, all of which Pro excludes and therefore every tier here excludes
- Buyers who want AppSumo behind the purchase, because the listing states AppSumo has not vetted this partner
- Teams expecting a higher tier to add features, since the tiers only buy more projects

Common questions about the Screpy deal
Is the $19 monthly figure the list price or a promotion?
The list price for monthly billing. The vendor page was running a 72 hour welcome offer at 60 percent off when this was checked, showing $6 a month, while the underlying plan data showed $19 monthly and $16 billed yearly.
What does the missing guarantee actually mean?
AppSumo's We Got Your Back guarantee covers listings it has vetted itself. This one is partner-managed and says so directly. The 60 day refund window is unaffected, but disputes after it sit with the vendor.
What is the difference between the three tiers?
Projects, and nothing else. The tiers buy 5, 10 and 15 projects; the crawl pages, tracked keywords, Core Web Vitals URLs, AI articles, reports and team seats are identical across all three.
How deep does the rank tracker report?
Positions inside the top 10 Google results only, as the founder stated on the listing in September 2026. A page ranking below that returns nothing until it arrives in the top 10.
What does the Pro plan leave out?
Keyword research, organic keyword and page data, competitor ads, backlinks and the map tracker. The licence gets you Pro, which is the founder's smallest paid plan, so those sit above it at every tier.
